| Q. |
I am a seasonal visitor and have to have my diabetes testing strips sent to me at both addresses. Is that a problem?
|
| A. |
No it is not a problem. We put both addresses in our system and when we contact you about a week before shipping your supplies we verify which address you will be at and then mail them to you at the current residence.
|
| Q. |
I want to change over to getting my supplies through the mail, but I already have a meter. Can I keep this one?
|
| A. |
We provide all the major manufacturer’s glucose meters and strips. If you are happy with your current meter, there is no reason you can not continue to use it. However, if you want to upgrade, we will be delighted to do that at no cost to you.

| Q. |
I have a very hard time with those numeric menus when I have to call a service company. What is your office like?
|
| A. |
We answer the phone during working hours with a live person who is very knowledgeable and will be able to answer your questions. If you call after working hours, you just need to leave a message and someone will call you back when we open the office in the morning.

| Q. |
I just changed doctors and now I need a new prescription. What do I do?
|
| A. |
You just have to provide us with the new doctor’s name and, if you have it, phone number and we will do everything else for you. We will get the certificate of medical necessity and then contact you to let you know if there has been any change in your prescribed amount of testing.
|
| Q. |
How do I know if my insurance covers the cost of the testing supplies?
|
| A. |
When you fill out the application online or call us, toll free, just have your policy number and group number, if applicable. We will verify your insurance for you. We will then contact you and let you know what your coverage is and if there are any copays or if you are fully covered at no cost to you. We never ship without consulting with you first. There are never any up-front costs.
|
| Q. |
Are these supplies free?
|
| A. |
If you have Medicare, they cover 80% of the cost. If you have a supplemental insurance, most likely there will be no charge to you. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, usually the same holds true. However, we verify your testing supplies coverage for you and advise you what cost, if any, there would be, before we ship. If you have other private insurance, we verify that to let you know if there will be any cost to you.
